I was applying for an online job and submitted already papers they wanted to have from me..I am just waiting for an online interview which they said last week. I was waiting for almost the whole days of this week but still interview never came. They said yesterday they would call me up today, this morning but still nothing came. I couldn't do any other things except to wait and wait for the employer to call me up. If you are in my place, would you still wait until the end? How many days would be your grace period of waiting? I need your suggestions guys... Thanks.. Mobhomeir here...

Have you checked them out at all? It sounds a little fishy. They can't seem to do anything when they say they will. Maybe it is a scam! I think you should look for another job and if they call you in the meantime so be it. You have waited as long as you should, and as long as they said it would take them to get back to you.

Hello my friend. No it was not a scam because someone is already working with them and I was just recommended for another job. The employer keep on telling me he will call me but never did. In fairness for both of us, i will give them one last chance next week since they informed me again a while ago... Good luck for me then my friend... Thanks again for responding..and God Bless Mobhomeir here...

If you know someone else that works for them that is good! It is also good that it is not a scam. How long did it take the other person to hear from them? I guess you should use his/her experience as a guide. Good Luck!!

Well, that is really the life of a job seeker. If you really wish to have a job, patience is very important. However, it doesn't mean that you have to wait just for one job interview. In my case when I was seeking for job, I applied in different companies because it would be better to wait for many companies. When I already have my job interviews, I can already chose what company will I work for.

Well, today hasn't ended yet, so if it were me, I'll wait until the end of the day (end of regular office hours which is 5 pm or 6 pm in our country). I wouldn't wait until tomorrow because the instructions says just today. If they won't call, try applying with other companies. If it's that hard dealing with them as an applicant, imagine what it would be like as an employee.

Yeah I got what you mean. well someone from them told me the reason why they were not able to call me up. I will give them a chance and that would only be for this coming week. If still they won't show up then that job would not meant for me.. thanks for responding my friend.. Mobhomeir here..

It wouldn't hurt to have other options, because even if you do get the interview, it is not an assurance that you get the job. Try floating your application to as many companies as you can, so that you could choose whoever calls first, or gives the best offer. It does not really mean that you've abandoned the company whose call for interview you're still waiting for.

mobhomeir, In the first place, why not follow up with an inquiring correspondence when they did not called you on that appointed date of interview? I just do not find any reason why you should wait aimlessly for the interview without hearing further from them.

Keeping you waiting like that and missing the appointments they had set up with you is a big red flag. If this company can't manage to call you when they say they will, will they pay you when they say they will? Anytime anything seems out of the ordinary when it comes to online activities, I walk away.

Hi mobhomeir, It seems all fraud with your so called employer. Since you have waited for such a long time and there was no sign that they appeared I do not think you should went on getting beguiled every moment. In my opinion quit this hope and look for another. Might be you are there then. Yes, were I in your place I would kick it off long back. Opportunities are not like rain in the desert. They keep on coming and now wait for one to come soon. All good luck friend.

just wait. they say that patience is a virtue. but never limit yourself to one job only. there's plenty of online job so submit resume to all vacant jobs that suit your qualification. i wish you will be able to have one.

Well my mom once waited six months for a response as a legal council for JC Penny's Corporate. And in the end she got the job making really good money. But she had a job already, she was just looking for something better with less hours. And she also applied to several other places but JC Penny was the best. So a grace period can be as long as you need. You can continue looking for work as you wait so you can just remember them until they contact you. A few days is nothing, trust me.
