I am eager to learn French and Italian, but I want to take French lesson first then Italian afterwards. I am only taking self-study and online tutorials through listening audio. But I really want to learn this language sooner. I did not enroll in a proper French lesson because it is very expensive and I am currently enrolled in the graduate study so my budget now is very limited. My question is, what is the first thing I should be doing in order to learn the language effectively?Right now I am only listening to the audio of French language, but I find it too difficult because I don't know how to use, speak and write the French words properly. Any suggestion out there?thanks

there are online tutorials or books ones. I started with the online one.

I also choose the online tutorial because it is less expensive than going out to the proper tutorial class. I am learning some French terms now but I find it very difficult to construct even one sentence because I don't know the French grammar thing.
