Is it just me...??!?

I submitted two pieces of content for up-front payments, something I have not done in quite some time. I've mostly just been submitting for performance payments over the last few months.
Anyhow, I submitted them over a week ago and still no review. I remember it would often just take a couple days for my up-fronts to be reviewed and published. Is it because perhaps there are far more people on AC in the last few months; are there fewer editors/reviewers; are the people on vacation so things are hectic there; is it a combination of everything?
Have you been submitting for up-front payments at Associated Content and noticed it's been taking much longer for them to review your pieces lately? Please share your experiences if you write for AC. Thanks!

Thanks for the info. Maybe now that they've merged with Yahoo things have changed.
It took a little over a week and a half for my pieces to be reviewed.

I write quite a bit for AC under my real name, Jeanne Gibson.
My last 3 acceptances have taken 2 full weeks at AC. Since one was on summer activities for kids, I was beginning to think winter would arrive before they ever got around to looking at the article. Once they accept an article though, the pay is about the same as always and they pay and publish very quickly.]]

No, it isn't just you. Heard that AC is taking longer in the review process in other places. It could be due to the transition that is happening fairly soon.

I havent really noticed it taking any longer. However I havent been submitting as many articles lately. I just submitted one yesterday though so I will have to wait and see. In the past when I submitted articles they took around three to four days to accept them. I hope that this hasnt changed. I read that it can take up to two weeks though.

It's definitely not you. I submit weekly & I don't always know whether or not my articles will get an offer or a rejection until the next week. It is frustrating, especially when you wait a week or two only to find that your article has been rejected. But it looks like this is happening to a lot of people (the long review process I mean, not the rejections lol).
