Would you rather go to internet shops if your computers are failing you?

I am beginning to hate this desktop. It always shuts down by itself and my applications crash everytime. I always need to do my documents repeatedly everytime just to get my message through. I hope I could publish this before it shuts down again.
I wish I could buy the adapter replacement for my laptop real soon. I couldn't even reply to my discussions because when I do, it almost always shuts down my firefox browser. I hope to get back working on my laptop so I could reply to friends who responded to my discussions. But for now, I will rather leave it as it is to avoid myself boiling mad.
In this kind of situation would you rather not do the usual thing and avoid being pushed to the limit or would you rather go out to look for an internet shop. The second one is never an option for me. I always stayed away from those shops because these are always jam packed with gamers and I hate noisy places.

If there is something wrong with the programs or there is a virus, I suggest you do have it reformat and reinstall your programs. Just make a safe storage for your files. If your laptop crashes because of the adaptor, it could be necessary to replace. I also dislike going into internet shops, I'm a girl and a crowded place of boys gaming is a bit risky. And I agree, they're really noisy. But sometimes when the computer fails me and I need to finish an assignment or project for school, I have no choice but to go to a computer shop.
I hope you solve your computer problem.

Hello Mhekhies16,
Thanks for the response. It sure is hard for me to go out just to rent a computer at an internet shop, besides, there are only a handful of shops available in our subdivision. I'd rather stay home and be content with what I have for now.
Have a nice day!

No... I try not to go to internet shops when my computer is failing me. There was even a time I did not have internet connection for three weeks due to my computer crashing.
When my old computer had the same problem as yours, it was due to viruses. The second time it had the same symptoms, it was due to overheating. My cousin said it was overused, been using the comp almost 20 to 22 hours a day. These days I usually reformat the comp when its not working right.
If its an old computer.. it would be wise to upgrade some parts and update important softwares.. One of the schools where I worked has a working pentium 3. It is still good but really... slow. As in jurassic slow.. believe me.

I don't like going out and renting in computer shops to browse the net. I'd rather do it while at work or stay in the comfort of my home. If my ISP keeps on bothering me, then I'll call my provider. If it's my computer, I might as well get it fixed as soon as I can.

Hello _Honey_,
For me that's also the best thing to do, get a fix by buying the replacement part so I can use my laptop again. I wouldn't have this PC repaired anymore as it still functions for my little daughter's use. She uses this for educational games, online dictionary and simple research work. Thanks for the input, have a nice day!

It is pointless to get mad at the desktop because it does not crash on purpose or shuts down on you with any evil intent. You know what needs to be done or replaced, you should do it instead of losing your cool over something that you can do something about. Being angry will not improve your situation but will only stress you out.
Cheers.

Actually this pc is a bit old and I have done everything to get it in best shape. But since the technician advised that I need to upgrade, I opted not to push through instead, I bought my laptop. My daughter does not want it too as she believes it is no longer advisable to upgrade the unit. I am just using this in times like this. I don't want to spend another centavo for this pc, I'd rather save the money to buy my laptop's adapter replacement. I am just irritated because I have to do things over and over again especially here in mylot where I am not yet allowed to copy my original write up and paste if in case the browser shuts off again. I'll just have to make do with what I have now. Thanks for your reply anyway.

Hello Muteki,
That's a good point and honestly I have done all there is to do, brought the computer to a certified computer repair shop and had invested already almost half it's original price to have it reconditioned but problem persisted so I believe it's about time that I resign from doing an improvement to it. I just wish I have an ipod. Thanks for the input. Have a nice day!

There were moments when the internet had failed me. And when I needed to do my job I just headed for the internet cafes. Like you said it was crowded with gamers but I had no choice because it was after office-hours. Otherwise, the library here where we live is a good option.

hmm, if you really wanna avoid getting mad, then i think you should go to internet shops. if you dislike noisy gamers, then find a net shop inside a mall. i think there are less ragged people in there.
