hi mylotters ....
i think many of us even i use pirated softwares and movies !!! i think these are illegal things instead of buying things we get it of free of costs.....
if you tell don't use pirated one i think no one will desire to have your advise . even i too don't stop using pirated one... i download nearly 2 to 3 movie and softwares daily which are pirated one!!!! .....
you know why i download these because many internet websites are providing it of free of cause .....
so i ask u all whether pirated should be encouraged (or) even though they are available in internet as a good citizen we should not use it !!!!!

well as long as the price is too high. an example $240 for an os? $150 for a single video game?

Piracy is indeed both a blessing and a curse. For the students and some middle class people they consider it a blessing as many of them can't afford to go to movies keeping in mind about the budget they are having and also the tight schedule that they have to cope with.
For filmmakers it's a curse as they have no idea where the leakage is coming from as it could be probably anyone from within or outside the state and can cause major damage to movies and not only not it also causes crores of loss of money.
The problem today is that people don't know where to draw the line. I am sure that many do want pirated movies and songs and all the latest things one can think of. But piracy is still a major crime and if caught can lead to very sever consequences.
