Now a days uniforms become common in college level too.Every year there are lots of engineering colleges are establishing inorder to provide publicty to there respective colleges they are introducing uniforms.Coming to my college there is no such rules but intersting is that we should follow the dress codes thats means no jeans and T-shirts.

They have good support from the students.
But the management is trying to ruin their unity by whatever means possible.
Let us hope that they stay united and win.

I know that it sounds odd for college students to wear uniform but believed it or not the students here in the Philippines wears uniform.Though not all colleges and university wears uniform but majority, specially Catholic owned university.I think it's inconvenient to wear uniform but I think it's also good in a way that people can distinguished what college do you belong to. :))

I was lucky that when I was in college the university I went to did not require a uniform for my course. Most courses don't have uniforms but there are others who does have. Anyway fighting for not imposing uniform I think is a right but I also think that in the end it will be the school to decide if they want to have. We simply should just follow but the choice is still ours. Either you give up the school and look for another, or you follow the rules. But I wish they could win the strike.

Here it is common for the primary and high school students wear the uniforms. However, it is very strange for the college students to wear the uniforms. Because actually they are adults and they should not wear the same. It is time for them to have their own personalities. And they shall wear whatever they like.
I love China

That does sound ridiculous. I never would wear a uniform. They are paying to go to school so they should be able to wear what they want. I dont think it will end up staying that way. Uniforms in public schools in understandable, even if i dont personally like it. But not in college.

Greetings Professor :)
Uniform is good in many ways. I agree with that.
But, that is not the case in my friend's college.
They are made to wear uniform for no reason at all.
They think that the management wants to make money by selling those low quality clothes for high prices. They say that the color fades away just after 10 washes and they are teased until they buy a new one.
Isn't that bad ?!
Shouldn't students be allowed to wear formal attire so that they learn to dress sensibly ?
Just imagine Sir, they have worn uniform right from Kinder Garden, and now when and where are they going to learn to dress themselves suitably to represent themselves as professionals in the public.
NOTHING TO OFFEND YOU PROFESSOR, but this is what the students feel.
Thank you.

People call them as school students and they don't get the respect they deserve as they are thought to be school students.
