i wake about every half hour or so during the night due to pain,so as you can imagine my M.E isn't getting any better, the doctor has put me on Diclophenic at night to see if that helps ease the pain, people with arthritis take it to ease pain,i don't want to take sleeping pills as my 8 year old still does'nt always sleep through the night and i need to be awake enough to change his sheets if he wets, does anyone one have M.E and know of anything else i can take if the Diclophenic does'nt work

A girl who i used to work with had M.E and she only done part time hours, she was under a consultant at a clinic in the hospital,as the drs had nothing that they could prescribe for her for her condition,i think it was the pain clinic in the hospital, the hospital consultant had to write to her gp so that he could prescribe her things,as a gp can only prescribe stronger things for a patient if a hospital consultant gives the ok in writing.I have psoratic arthritis and the treatment that treats my psoriasis is also to treat arthiritis, but the same applys there only the hospital can get it for you,Not a gp and they are injections, methatrexate treats for arthritis but on a hospital consaltant can go the go ahead to a gp to get it for you.The pain clinic in the hospital is also for obviously pain as in arthritis, etc.Perhaps you should ask who deals in ME at the hospital as they should be seeing you now as you have been diagnosed with it.

From what i can make out the pain clinic you have to be referred to by a consultant, but as you already have a consaltant at Gt Yarmouth he/she can refer you as you need to be referred by a specialist or consaltant after a diagnosis.Gt Yarmouth should be able to fix you up with the pain clinic in your area.

Wait for my spelling mistake as here it comes. Why dont they send you to a neurological person at adenbrooks as they do alot of things there nowadays and the hospital is closer for you also dont they provide transport to and from the hospital if you are not well enough to drive,as i know they have done for me in the past aswell as my mums boyfriend.

I am sorry to hear that . I have no ideas about easing your pain . Because I have no method about it . But I hope you can find a good way to ease your pain , and have a better health .

it's annoying,i'd rather be well, but if i can't be well then i'd rather be worse, coz at least that way there'd be more medication i could take, but because i'm inbetween good and bad then there's nothing they can do

hi doormouse forgive me but everyone except me seems to know the term
'M.E. but I do not. help. I could respond more intelligently if
I knew what those two letters stood for. I wish I could tell you
what else you could take but I would need to know what disease we
are referring too. We all get so used to using initials that we
ofter forget someone else might not be familiar with the initials.

there is a product named quantumin plus , developed in the philippines and formulated by a filipino doctor. its is a detoxifier which actually cures any kinds of disorder such as arthritis, any kinds of infections , heart disease , diabetics , hydrocephalus ,even internal hemorrhage, insomnia , and many other more . they use it either by drinking or applying it on external parts of the body . . there are documentaries posted on you-tube on how it works and i consider it a miraculous product.
but unfortunately it is not to be sold outside the country. .
