what you like doing while cooking the dinner

I hate cooking dinner. the only way to really make it bearable is if I listen to music while I cook. Or sometimes I'll listen to music and at the same time I'm cooking dinner I'll experiment with cooking something I've wanted to try. I really love to experiment with cooking food, so I at least find that to be somewhat fun.

Here here is one i can not answer,as i used to have a drink while preparing meals,that was along time ago.My husband has to cook for me now as i am unable to stay on my feet for too long,which is getting really embarrasing,asi was the one that used to do the currys etc.I do sometimes have a drink while he is cooking though if that counts.

hi doormouse I have not cooked for a year and a half as I am stuck here in this tiresome retirement center. When I cooked I would sing to my self or listen to music on the television, or if something was baking sit down' and read a magzine or a good book.

Hi friend! Its odd but me, i also do other things when i am cooking, specially in the morning. I usually wake up at three in the morning to prepare breakfast and pack lunch for my daughter and me. Since i still feel sleepy i do some bending and dancing even without music. At dinner time on weekends, i turn on the radio to disco tunes and dance while cooking. My purpose for that is to have fun at the same time loose some of my fats.If i could not dance, i sing along with the tunes on the radio. No one sees me anyway.

Hi doormouse I always sing along and dancing as I am listing to my radio or my CD player. I think it makes it that much more entertaining and be before I know it dinner is on the table. Take care Snow

If I am cooking I am also usually cleaning. There are always dishes to wash and the table to set. I may be talking with hubby or pop in to see what is on the television. I really do not mind cooking dinner, it is the cleanup that I dislike immensely.

I cook, I'm not such a good cook that I can afford to be distracted by anything. If, say, I'm boiling noodles, and I can manage to do that, I might do some washing up, unload the dishwasher or something, I try to set the timer tho, so if I do get distracted, I don't over cook the noodles...

Hi, doormouse. I like to be on the Internet a lot. And, I also like to be on the telephone talking. And I also like to, watch television.

Depending on what I am cooking as to what I do. If I put something in the oven that has to bake for a while, I will fire up the computer and play games or answer emails. If that isn't possible I will watch the news or talk with other members of my family. My kids love to hang around the kitchen while I am cooking to see what they are going to get to eat.

I love cooking very much and I usually listen music when I am cook. If I have some free time I call with my friends with phone. It is strange cook when there is silient around us. When I cook pasta I can surf in the Internet while my pasta is makes alone. One of my favourite hobby is cooking. Take care, Have a nice day!

I like to have a cup of coffee and think what type of new taste food can be make. May be the taste poor or Delicious. I like to serve something new.
