they say eggs have cholesterol and mainly found in the yolk. some discipline says we must eat just one egg a day if we have to. i don't know and i think i don't care sometimes. i just like it and even if i cook two recipes which contain eggs both at the same time and consume it quite to the last piece, i just love it. well, i don't know what's in front of me in the future. but i just eat what is in front of me. thanks God i am graced with any. is there any bad effects of eating eggs everyday and more than one every time?

I love eggs any way possible. So, for me it would be a problem to limit my egg intake. I live alone and many times I don´t even want to heat a dish I already made. But an omelette or some fried or scrambled eggs to be eaten while watching TV is something else!!! I have discovered that my body reacts with higher cholesterol levels when I´m stressed. That is one of the reasons why I think that vacations are part of health.
Eggs, on the other hand, have never caused me any problem that I know of. Besides I firmly believe in the quality of life above longevity. So... let´s eat eggs!

Hi,
I like to eat eggs, and I don't have the limit of how many egg to eat per day.
I can eat an egg everyday, more than 1 egg per day is fine for me too.Sometimes,
I can eat even 2-3 eggs per day.
Egg is easy to cook, suitable to be steamed, fried, stir fried with vegetables, cook in a soup. All are my favourite.

i am actually expecting someone would mention these kinds of eggs and how they are prepared and/or preserved. i know how to make salted egg by the way. i did it before. now you reminded me and i think i'm gonna do it again this week. lol. i have to do it coz it's not available in the country i am at right now. also, i can only prepare a salted chicken egg. not a duck egg. better than nothing.

Hi,
To add -
There are many types of eggs available in the market :
century egg, chicken egg, kampung egg (smaller size then chicken egg), salted egg and quail.
I do love to eat all those type of eggs.
For century and saleted egg, I like to eat with porridge.
They can be mixed with the porridge and it taste superb.
It is good to consume kampung everyday, most is 2 eggs per day in the morning.
Half boiled and add bit of light soya sauce, it taste superb.

well, it seems that we are just so paranoid about cholesterol all the time. we never take time to know what benefits us from a food anymore. we are always looking for something written in the food's package like cholesterol free, fat free, and the like. but overall, it's not about eating 10 or 15 eggs in one meal. we are just talking of 1 to 3... okay, make it even 4 or 5 if you want. surely, the next piece you will feel guilty about it and won't have to continue any longer. i love eggs!

Eggs are a good, inexpensive source of protein. Also Choline found in egg yolks is very good for us. According to whole foods- "have levels of inflammatory markers at least 20% lower than subjects with the lowest average intakes, report Greek researchers in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition..." Additionally, some studies show that eggs have no effect on cholesterol levels in many individuals. My opinion, keep eating those eggs!

so i do feel well. i never had fear of eating more than 2 or 3. sometimes, i take 2 in the morning and another 1 or 2 in the evening. truly delicious in any ways i cook it. the only thin i watch out is if everytime i cook eggs with oil (fried or stir fried mixed with other ingredients, or omelet). it makes me feel kind a dizzy. i feel like i ate (or drank if you want to correct it hehe) oil instead of eggs. lol.

I used to eat 10 quail eggs a day, 6 days a week, for 3 months. Didn't affect my health in anyway. =P So I think all those reports on limiting egg to just 2-3 a week is wrong. Maybe those are only applicable for people with high cholesterol levels.

WOW! what a diet. well, i love quail eggs too. but i always remember that some articles state that 1 quail egg's cholesterol is equal to 3 chicken's eggs. but anyways, i don't get satisfied with even just 3 quail eggs. i love it too much specially when i was still in college where vendors are all around the school. can't resist the smell of "kwek-kwek" (flour-coated-boiled-quail eggs and deep fried). but when the bad news about the artificial vinegar they used came out, i stopped.
