The Gulf Oil Spill

Do you guys think the U.S did everything they could to stop the Gulf Oil spill as soon as possible?

Well first off I'm gonna say I'm glad it's over and now they can start cleaning up the millions of gallons in the water. Secondly, I think the U.S. could have done more like make laws against drilling too deep or make requirements for an emergency shut off switch.
