Hello; I am a part time breeder, full time trainer of working dogs. WHAT EVER BREED YOU CHOOSE OF WORKING DOG, BE SURE TO BREED THEM TO STANDARD. There r alot of non caring breeders out there sellin puppies so far out of standard and calling them puer bred dogs, I am almost projectile vomating.
Rotties with large white spots on them...
Shepards white the same as above
Bouviers 2 tone, Chocolate or large white markings
all above calling them RARE colors, they are not rare they r bred out of standard.
Mean, non anything is wrong..
All working dogs are a good dog, easily trained, obediant and in stand of all the kennel clubs. If u find dogs out of standard excluding there is usually something else that you will find wrong with the pet...
REMEMBER ALWAYS LUV/ TRAIN/ CARE FOR YOUR DOG/ PET, THEY WILL ALWAAYS LUV U..

i agree that breeding should be done responsibly and carefully so as to maintain the quality and health of the breed, but I diverge with you on the point about never experimenting with breeding.
How does anyone think all these diverse breeds came to be in the first place? somewhnere along the line, someone, somewhere, experimented.
The golden doodles and schnoodles are an attempt to bring together two very important factors, low shed with marvellous, trainable temperment. in my book, that's never a bad idea. As long as its done with the best interests of the breed and those families to whom they go.

I did some breeding when I was a dog groomer a few years back.
I loved the puppies, loved watching them be born, looking after them, seeing them grow, finding good homes, seeing them go to their new family. I remember one particular family was getting a companion animal for their mildly disabled son. He (the puppy) was to receive special training. The breed was just the right size, low shed and I felt so good seeing them together. My money back guarantee provided that the puppy be taken to his new vet within the week, to be sure he was healthy and got the shots needed.
I always knew who they were going to, never had dozens of puppies at a time. Never took on more than I could reasonably find homes for.
However, you would not believe how much negativity there is towards breeders. No matter how careful you are, and how caring, and how much joy your work brings you, and how much joy I saw in the families that acquired them, there was always a pall over the whole matter.
With working breeds, it will be even harder to find good homes, because so many people don't know what they are getting into with these energetic animals.
Good for you about the veterinary degree. It will enable to indulge your passion for dogs and other animals, while also enjoying a much more positive public image.

Thank you for response and support, I love to hear that you love this in the past and I hope that you enjoy that. I can't believe that many people love animal and even more dogs. Many would care and love about animals with that compassion.

I'm so happy for you, I've thought about being a vet myself but the training is very long and you need almost perfect grades and also get a low salary, but working with animals is so rewarding, that it doesn not really matter does it! :) Good luck to you, and i hope you find the right animal related job for you :)

Thank you, but have you thought about going into business for yourself. There are many different background about animals because they have do things to help people. One them for the elderly and the people who are handicap. You can train dogs for them. You can try that and see what happens
