Let me explain,my husband hates people being sick and he is the type of person that would run the other way when people are sick.I have not been well for a while now and he has todo all of the chores aswell as hold his job down.Tonight i was really sick and he was there with me supporting my weight, aswell as rubbing my back telling me i will feel better in a minuite, aswell as trying to crack other jokes like well look at all that food and drink you have wasted. He was there saying no matter what, remember i married you for you and in sickness and health,i ment all of those vows he told me.

Dear friend,
I had such a husband. The only thing he did wrong was to part too early.
Do tell your husband how much you love him. I have heard too many people saying that "he surely knows".
You have something precious: you are blessed.
Take care

Wow your husband is so sweet! I love it that I can relate because my husband is also very caring but it is him who is sick right now, I wish I could make him feel better every hour of care I am giving him. I know he will be fine tomorrow. I am very sure of that. Thank God!

That's how you know you have found true love. When someone is willing to risk contamination, there is some sort of bond between the two of you.
Seems grand from the third person perspective. I was never willing to be coughed or sneezed on by any of my ex girl friends. I'd walk around with a surgical mask, and try to hook them p with a hot bowl of soup if they wanted me to be their for them.

You and I are both lucky...we got good ones.
Several years ago, I became very ill. I had a bone infection that affected my spine and ended up having 5 surguries and being in bed for 6 months, then I had many more months before I could get around much.
He took over everything..all the household chores, held a job, and took care of me..helping me wash, washing my hair, doing whatever had to be done to make me as comfortable as he could.
He still does almost all of the housework, laundry, and cooking, because I can't stand very long or walk very far.
He is a keeper.

That is a great partner to have. It is touching that he is so understanding. I imagine you would do the same for him if the situation was reversed, though. That is why we take those vows and make those promises. He loves you, for who you are.

Hi, jugsjugs. Your husband is very sweet! That is what marriage is all about, taking care of each other when one gets sick. I had to take care of my husband when he was sick too. It was a tough job, but I did it for him because I love him. I hope that you will feel much better very soon. Take care.

How lucky you are,to have a very reassuring husband and willing to take care of you. You see, there are not so many of them nowadays where divorce and separation are common. Anyway, enjoy each others company while you are sick.

hello jugsjugs!
it was truly wonderful and great of your husband to be that dedicated and caring to you. You are one of the few lucky ones to have enduring and devoted husbands or partners, considering the constant change in today's world where everyone and everything is constantly changing.
Your posts just truly reminded me of what it feels like to be truly loved and cherished and how my heart aches, because i have no one like that in my life. You should cherished and appreciate that kind of partners too in return.. only a few of their kind are left in this world, lol.
i hope and pray that you'll get well soon jugsjugs!

hello jugsjugs!
that was jut simply wonderful and great of your husband. Your posts just reminded me of what it feels like to be truly loved and cherished by your partner and i am so happy for you.
in this world of ours where everything and everyone is constantly changing, we should give thanks for the people who remains true to their vows and make it through with their partners through good times as well as the bad times.
You are indeed one of the few lucky ones who have been blessed with devoted partners and they are truly worth to be cherished too in return. I would love to hear one day that such trait of your husband has been passed on to your children too, for i believe that the family background as a child is growing up has also a lot to do with the characters and attitudes of people as they mature.
Anyway, i hope and pray that you'll get well soon.

You've got a good bloke there jugs.
I'mnot sure too many guys mean those vows or even if they know what they are saying. I think they don't think about it and on the day they are too scared to realise what's going on let alone knowing they are making solemn promises and what that entails.

Feel better soon! That is no fun being sick. My husband is the same way when people are ill like that, but it's not often I'm sick in that way. I can appreciate a hubby who will be there no matter what. How sweet of your hubby! You'll have to give him a really nice surprise like a big meal or something when you feel better. That is so sweet. I would've never understood what it meant to have that type of love and devotion, but now I've been married for over a year to my wonderful husband now. I can definitely appreciate all your husband has done for you recently. Please do take care, and I hope you are back to your normal self soon!
