Prayer and Positive Enery for my Mother and I during her CancerSurgery

I haven't been here on mylot in a while. My Mother is 85 years old and has just been diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma cancer on her left eyelid and the surrounding area. She will have surgery on August 2nd. I am really scared and worried about her due to her age. I am nervous, I can't sleep, I feel panicky and I pray as much as I can. I haven't been going to church and I just hope that God remembers me and hears my prayers. I am asking for prayers for my Mother's surgery and recovery and for me to be able to be there for her and help her. I live with her. She can't hear hardly anthing, she can't hear the tv, a tornado siren, a ringing phone, a knock on the door. She has nerve damage and a hearing aid won't help her, we have tried some. I feel so sorry for her. She reads the words on the tv screen and if they aren't there she doesn't know what is going on. If anyone out here has any idea on any new devices for hearing please let me know. Her sisters and brothers don't come to see her or have anything to do with her. We live in a old rented house and they all live in fine homes. So they look down on us. My daughter who is a single mother and my 4 year old grandaughter live here with us too. If anyone has been through a similar situation I would like to hear how you handled it.
