Just learned from another mylotter and realised that the blue words on top of the search box are all categories for searches . And when your search has no result, don't fret, 2 choices will appear below the search click, "tags" and "full text". Choose the full text and click search again.

Wow, nice advice. I don't know it. I usually change my key word whenever there is no result displayed by the mylot search. By choosing tags this will make the searching more general while choosing full text make it more specific. This will cause the possibility of getting no result will be higher if we choose full text. What do you think about my opinion. Am I wrong? I usually use mylot search to search web, discussions or photo and choose "tags" only.

Choosing tags means they only search your words in the tags that others had added and choosing full text means if your word/words that you are searching for appear anywhere in the full content of others, it will come up in your search result and you can read the article..

So, it mean if the site doesn't tag the same thing I use in my keyword, the site won't be displayed as a result. Based your explanation, by choosing full text we could expand the search boundaries. This make possibility to find what we search is higher. OK, ongtina, I understand now. I will try choose full text whenever mylot search doesn't display anything for my keyword. Thank you for the advice.

Thanks a lot for this info. I did a search a few minutes ago and I didn't get the result. The "full text" thing did the job. I hadn't noticed it the first time. Happy mylotting, regards, Ajith.
