Hello! I will gladly share my earning process in myLot with you. Here just are some tips that I follow - 1. Just remember to use the myLot search bar as usual search bar. See...... you can get rewards of cents from myLot if you use there search bar daily for net surfing. 2. Just remember to do your posts at least 5 lines long and also remember to rate "+" on any posts written by other. 3. Remember to upload the maximum amount of images to upload in your interests and so you could earn good money. 4. Do those tasks carefully and successfully to earn some good bucks. Happy mylotting!

thanks for the easy to follow guidelines - I wasn't aware what these + and - stood for! I'd be also grateful if you could explain the third point - can we earn points by uploading our own images/photos?

Thanks for sharing the information. ^.^ I just recently learned about the + / -, is it just rating the post? But what if you didn't rate + or - to post? Does that still counts?

MyLot is a discussion site and that is what we earn for. It is not about posting endless topics and responses with no particpation because those do not become discussions. In the FAQs myLot tell us to post + respond + COMMENT to further the topic. http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq6.aspx#14 I rarely start discussions. Often I know that I will not have time to participate in them and comment to the responses so I prefer to respond and comment on those started by others or add further comments to my older discussions. In fact again this month I have not yet started a discussion. All of our own activity earns for us and we do not earn from the activity of others, therefore it is not necessary to start discussions in order to reach payout. It is enough to be actively participating elsewhere.

That's really a good idea, sometimes I'm having a hard time think what discussion topic I would post everyday, and I'm really embarrass with discussion started with no response. lol! (I have one!) It would be easy to just comment on other started discussion and post your opinion about it! thanks for sharing! ^.^

The best advice is to read the Guidelines until you understand and know them by heart, and to read the FAQs, which tell you how the site works. You are paid for your participation and the better quality your discussions and responses, the better you will do. There is some excellent advice on making the best of MyLot here: http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq6.aspx#14

Since, by joining ANY site, you are assumed to have read the Terms and Conditions or Rules (and usually there is a check box to say that you have), it is ALWAYS your loss if you have not done so. MyLot is full of helpful people but tempers naturally get short if you have obviously not done what you should have done. Posting discussions which get deleted is a waste of both your time and the time of the people who respond because NOBODY gains. Responding to discussions which are likely to be deleted is a waste of YOUR time. The ONLY way you can avoid doing either of these things is by getting to know what the site is about BEFORE jumping in to try to make money. A little time spent getting to know the site will save you many hours of anguish, bad feeling and earnings. That applies to ANY site you join as well as MyLot.

hi owlwings! I hope I wont offend you but sometimes there's no time on reading the guidelines anymore. There's so many stuff to do so I tend to just join and hope to just make money out of it. Well, I guess it's my lost isn't it? But since I know by heart that there are kind people who are willing to reach out and help you. Thank you for sharing the link and I will check on that right now! thanks for the response! ^.^

MyLot is site in which we earn for discussing legit topics. I had a lot of trouble when I started mylotting, but a friend Diana helped me out. She's my online aunt!. One thing you must remember when posting a discussion is that you must not orphan it afterwards. If you actively involve in the discussions you started, you can easily bag a lot of credits. And also make a lot of good friends too. eg: A person named snam who taught me blogging. Always stick to the rules, you can find it in: http://www.mylot.com/o/topguidelines.aspx Some of your questions can be answered at: http://www.mylot.com/o/faq.aspx Another little secret is to upload an image to all your responses, discussions and comments. Stick to the photo guidelines. Personally, I seldom start discussions these days. I have a slow internet connection, and commenting and staying updated is not an easy factor.Always remember that the number of responses to your discussion never earns any money. Only your responses, photos and comments earn you cash. And uploading photos to personal page doesnot help either. I hope I have acknowledged you enough. Have fun, that's the most important part of mylot. Happy mylotting, Regards, Ajith.

Oh golly! It's you aunt! Sorry about 'going out without informing' thingy. I was at hostel and I had no access to web. And yes, I think that link's one of the best discussions I started and I love it. Thanks for reminding me of the old days. Good luck to all. And see you around. Happy mylotting! Love, Freak.

I really am enjoying it here, I actually use myLot for me to unwind but I can't help to get intrigue on how most of the people earn here, it is because they post 3 to 5 new discussions? or 30 people responded the that discussion or whatever. ^.^ it's not a crime to enjoy as well as earn while doing it, right? ^.^ wait.. is nadal your surname? thanks for the response!

Welcome to myLot friend. You may see my respond. By the way you don't earn money for negative responds.

there are not really any strategies as such. Its just your smart moves towards what topic you make for discussions, how you reply, reply as much topics in a day you can. for 100 and more discussions you can earn well 1 dollar

It really doesn't matter how much you post, as it is your participation that matters the most. I don't do as much as I did when I started, but I am still active, and I still participate. I don't start all that many discussions, but when I do, I will take the time to comment back to the responses that I receive, as it is only common courtesy to do so. If you don't comment back, then you won't earn for your discussions, as it is like diana, said, that we only get paid for what we do, and not what others do. As long as you are active and participate, then you will earn. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

I am very interested to hear too, what you guys who have been with mylot for several years have to say. I'm intrigued with how they rate mylotters, as much as i'm fond of reading and responding to discussions here. I want to know if you will have higher rating if the topic you started gets many responses and encourages a pool of thoughts from participants.
