So, I am in my 4th year at a college here in asia and I was just wondering what I would do right after I (hopefully) graduate. Should I continue my studies and gain a master's degree? Join a lot of seminars and complete a few certifications? Or do I just directly try to find an employment? Please help me.

That would depend on your career goals, your priorities, your interests, your location, socio-economic status, and a load of other factors. If you like the academe, and money is not an issue for you, then getting into postgraduate studies would really be a worthwhile investment. It would increase your marketability and would really make you advance in your field. If you're also considering a career in the academe, postgraduate study would lead you to the right track. However, there are some types of work where getting into the real thing and experiencing work in the real world than learning in school would make you learn more. About the seminars and certifications, that would depend on your goals. If the seminar topic is something that really interests you, then go for it. If the certifications are required in applying for the job that you like and they would also increase your marketability, then go for it. But I don't think you should do the seminars and certifications full time. It would be great to have a part time job to go with it to add to your experience.

I guess you're right. I think I would be trying to apply for a job after I graduate and then try to do seminars and workshops along the way. And when I feel like I need to increase my marketability more then I would continue to postgraduate studies. Thanks for this again.

If your goal is to gain experience by finding full time work related to your degree, suggest that you start applying and submitting your resumes to the different companies that you like so that you already have a job right after graduation. That way, you won't get bored after your graduation by being a bum. Work is real hard to find these days because of the economy so it is important to have a head start by starting early.

i chose to chase a master's degree when i graduated but now i regret for this.speak personally,i think just go to work is better, because you can learn more and faster in work ,it's help to build your business. no matter which way you go,go ahead! good luck for you!
