90's OPM songs like Alamid and Tunay na Amo.

I just got a song from the band Tunay na AMO. Arnel Pineda was the singer back then (around 90's) entitled "Running Away". And Alamid's "I Just Wasn't Brave Enough". Can you suggest more songs of the same genre and the same era?

you can try searching in youtube or tristan cafe.
you can't go wrong with alamid. solid band back in the 90s. lots of great songs but they were really known for their hit song 'your love'. other notable songs from the band were 'china eyes' and during the latter part of their career, a 'corrupted' version of the theme song of the popular local children's show, 'batibot'.
personally, i think the 90s was one of the greatest decades for opm. bands that came out that time, eraserheads and true faith, to name a few really lived up to the billing 'original pilipino music'.
anyway, good luck in your search. i'm going to youtube some stuff myself and relive the 90s.

Oh yeah. But you forgot 'I Just Wasn't Brave Enough' from alamid. Their best song, atleast for me. And it's hard to look for opm 90's on youtube.

i am not really familiar with the band Tunay na AMO, actually its the first time i hear about it. hehe but with alamid, well i like their songs before...but i am also not familiar with the song you mentioned. what i really remember about them was their 'china eyes' and 'your love'
with this discussion you remind me of my highschool years when i am really crazy about these pinoy bands...haha and my favorite that time was INtrovoys coz i just so love their song "will i survive" as well as their 'line to heaven' i think i really like most of their songs. and also songs from After Image, Eraserheads, Rockstar, and River Maya are also nice.

yeah i know arnel pineda but just recently after he sang for journey. i know that he's into bands before but i didn't know about this one. haha
i search for it and yeah its a nice song, arnel really have a nice singing voice..its just funny how he looks like before...hehe
but anyway, thanks for sharing this one to us, now i know about this band and their song...

Arnel Pineda was their lead vocalist. You know him for sure? Journey's lead singer now. The song running away is nice to listen to. Hope you can have a chance to listen to it. You can search it using a download software. limewire

@damned_dle F.Y.I. Running Away was not sung by Arnel Pineda. The lead vocals on that song is Joey Nuguid (keyboardist and vocalist) of the band.

Those were the days. Bands just sprouting around like mushrooms. So many bands to choose from, unlike now.
But I have never heard of inertia before.
