Don't you think that this is just about the ugliest animal ever?

i guess that really prove that 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder'.. well, i am not beholding anything then, because that is one nasty looking rat there...quite the 'fugliest' rat i've ever seen

It does look quite freaky, I used to keep rats but have never seen bald ones before. All the folds of skin look very unattractive, and it looks like it must feel very unpleasant to hold. I have seen uglier animals though, I think the bald cats look pretty freaky too. I wonder if they have bred a bald dog yet? That's got to be next. And what would happen if they bred the bald rat with a rat with hair? I bet the offspring would look even weirder.

There are bald cats and dogs so why not a bald rat. Not for me, I think one of the most chaming thing about dogs, cats and even rats is their coat

Oh I have a friend like that... she has 2 corn snakes which I did hold, but I didnt like it when the coil themselves round my arm very much... When she was younger she asked her parents if she could have an iguana lol, but her parents said no... so instead she settled on a tortoise and a couple of rats! I have to say though that your daughters new bald rats, really do not look that nice, and I quite agree with you that they look ugly!!! I do not like things like that, I much prefer my cat!

those are one UGLY animals! I'm fine with the snakes, and I guess I could stand the other rodents - to feed to the snake maybe... but those things, just UGLY!!!

What a unique assortment of animals. I guess you really have to keep the snake away from the mice because it would wind up eating them. lol. I do agree that the bald rat or mice to look really ugly. But I think that different people have different likes for all kinds of animals. I have also seen a hairless cat. I don't like them but whatever I guess some people just have different tastes.

I have to disagree on you with the gerbil and corn snake. A gerbil is just like a hamster except it has a little less fur, and is a little taller and skinnier. A corn snake looks pretty cool. Anyway, that bald mouse... It just past number 8 on my list of the most hideous thing I ever seen! Um, well, now that I saw that bald rat, it's hard for me to decide what is uglier, if a bald cat or if a bald rat. If you have seen that bald cat species, it's really creepy, like taken from a monster's tale. Maybe the bald cat and the bald rat would make good friends

Oooh poor thing, it's not very 'cute' but it's still a living thing so I wouldn't just shun it...but yes, I agree, they're not very nice looking and I think having one for pet would give me a few nightmares...

i looked at the enlarged version of the picture, now i think i'm gonna have nightmares.(o_o) i never knew of the existence of bald rats, but i guess i wouldn't want to know about them anyway. i don't want to call it ugly bluntly, it's probably created like THAT for a reason. but i wouldn't have any of those for a pet. I've seen uglier. I have actually seen bald rats, and they're a bit cuter than that in real life. still cute in an ugly sort of way, but cute all the same.

no, i've seen uglier animals such as sea animals that live in very deep ocean waters. some of the animals are very pretty in the deepest of oceans but the others are the ugliest animals i've ever seen.
