If its dirty I won't eat it. If it still looks clean I'll eat it.

hi o0hopk0o not me I worked in the medical field all my life, and
just because we do not see the bacteria and viruses with our eyes
does not mean they are not there and are also on that food you
dropped. If you really want another head cold or the flu or even
a staph infection go ahead take a chance, but for me I will not
eat anything thats been on the ground. I like to stay well myself.
believe me the bacteria and viruses and staph are there even if
they cannot be seen with our naked eyes.

Well, first of all, I would try not to drop anything in the first place! Genereally, the answer is no, if it doesn't need to be cooked then it would usually go in the bin, it's a huge waste, I know, and particularly if it can't be washed, so I am definitely careful woth my food and not to drop anything... :)
