You want to be stronger?

I was watching animal planet yesterday and I saw a Gorilla, and I noticed its back and it's whole body was bigger than most bodybuilders. This might sound silly but I think If we follow some animal lifestyle then we just might get as strong as they are. Bulls are buff, they only eat and run but they are very strong, they don't even lift weights in the gym but they are strong. What do you think?

First, gorilla's weight are a lot more then us which gives them a big advantage in strength, and another thing why would we want to follow the lifespan of an animal that has about 1/2 or 1/3 of ares.

It's for sports training and conditioning. It's only for strength not for the size. Every sport nowadays use strength training and conditioning. Even golf. Tiger woods is very strong because he train.

I don't know. I think different animals have different amounts of mass. For instyance a gorilla or bull would have a lot more and possible bigger. I mean we would get sum muscle but not like them

I'm talking about strength not muscle mass, though muscle mass affects muscle strength as well. Also the fitness, the gorilla was well postured, very fit, and the physique is awesome.

Hell yeah, I want that animal strength. Being a strong guy is not enough for me. It's like a craving for more power, and muscle. Now I realize that in this modern society, we don't need all of that muscle to do heavy lifting, when we have machines to do it. I also realize that people look down upon musclebound freaks, but I don't care. I want that strength. My goal is to be able to go outside one day and just pick up my car for no apparent reason other than I am strong enough to do it. Or be able to laugh at the fact that I have a higher towing capacity than a pickup truck (I have moved 7000 pounds, but I am planning to break that). Yeah, I would end up being huge, and weigh like a horse due to the muscle mass, but this is what I want. People say that I am as strong as a bull because I move heavy stuff with ease, but I still have something to prove, like pick a fight with a bull, beat it up , and have it for dinner since excessive strength calls for a monster appetite. I already scare some people because of the fact that I am still growing, and what was heavy isn't anymore, and I can growl like a dog. Must be the animal DNA.

I love Tarzan and Kerzjack in the Walt Disney animation. But hey, Tarzan might be all smart but when it comes to brute strength, the apes rule!

I agree that those animals are very strong. I think it's because of the fact that we humans are somehow very spoiled. If you think about it, animals could travel miles and miles a day and that's normal for them. On the other hand, we humans can just easily hop on our cars and go.
In the ancient days human would have to work hard to make fire, while now we can just press the button.
Another example would be how human can use their equipments to carry stuff. They put heavy things on a cart or on a forklift. Sometimes it's not even that heavy, but people are getting lazy.
Such a big difference I know, but that's why I personally think that animals are stronger the same that ancient people were much more stronger than people nowadays.
I tend to compare the cavemen, if i call them correctly, and animals. During those times, I believe the cavemen had the strength close to those of animals. They have to battle the animals for food and safety. Killing tigers, bears, gorilla, etc would be something that they do on a regular basis. Again compare it to ourselves where we have everything available. Even if we have to kill these animals, most we can do is to pull the trigger.
I have no problem with the way we live nowadays, but I think that's why we're not as strong as before. As personal experience from me, I went to gym for a few months and trained doing bench press. In such short amount of time I went from 0 (never done any bench press before), to 135lbs. It's pretty amazing how our body can get stronger by doing workout routines like this. Now imagine if we live in the cavemen era, where we have to carry rocks, tree trunks, animals body, and so on EVERYDAY. I believe we could get much stronger without even realizing it.
