Do you like spending time with your family or you'd rather be with friends?

Spending time with the family is important to me especially with my kids. Unfortunately, my current circumstance does not permit me to be with them regularly. But if I get a chance, I'd rather be with them than go out. I'm not saying that friends are not important because they are. They make your life better. They are my support system and they provide valuable advice to me. How about you?

My family fragmented years ago. Some divorces, step mother & siblings. A few very bad memories and generally an experience that I would rather forget. My partner's family are quite close. If I am honest, I find that uncomfortable: so working a shift pattern often rescues me from this.

I can understand that. My family is not the normal set-up too but I guess we make do with what we have. :)

A famous quote "Friends come and go, but family will always be there for you" also why can't your family be your friends, I know it can be very hard since we are so close to them, but my family is also my friends. : )

I agree with the quote. The lucky ones are those who have families and have them as friends too.

well, my friends are my family, oh, I go visit my mom and I love her, but I'd rather pass than see my brother and I don't get to see my sister nearly as much as I might like.
