It is raining outside.. Now what can I do?

I would consider reading a book as my first option. But if that does occur to me as interesting in that moment then I guess I would look at my old albums and pictures. Another thing I would consider doing would be playing indoor games like cards and such.

Be creative, when i have no electricity i clean my house and at night i usually get wasted and play cards under candle light... good times

that could be... you can sleep, you can watch some nice movie or news... but when the electricity is out somewhere ... then you can have a hot coffee like what you said... or the best... you would visit your love one... even you would be soaked with rain... that would surely^^^ give some genuine heat^^^

Try doing anything constructive and positive. I always liked when the power would go off if there was no immediate danger and I was assured that it would not turn into a 4 day country wide emergency. It requires thinking and adaptation. Make love, go outside and make love in the rain, just don't let the children or your neighbors see you doing this.

It is a terrible things when it happened.Maybe i will play cards and games with friends, such as honest and brave.and chat with friends it is the best entertainment way ,such as some star's gossips.so fun isn't it? tag play games, cards ,chats , entertainment

Rain is good! Go for a walk in it, jump in some mud puddles. That would be my first choice. :) Or, you could always sit down and read a good book, play some board games, or take a nice long nap. If you want to actually do something productive, do some cleaning.

i'd go for grabbing a book and sitting down. rain is a perfect moment for letting out one's imagination. and reading will help you with that. every drop of rain, the cold breeze, they are all drivers of imagination. i would not complain if there is a cup of coffee or chocolate. oh, that's life. have a great reading time..

Sleeping is the best thing to do when there is no electricity and when it is raining outside. It will help your body recover from the wear and tear of everyday living. Take advantage of this and you will wake up refresh.

wow....its good to eat goto or anything hot...hehehe and just to lie down in the bed.

Well,it's raining so need to stay at home.You said works and classes are suspended.The best things to do is,to do some other stuff,watch dvd movies,read books,surf online then the good one is having a cup of coffee sipping it while sitting near the window and watch the rain falls....

I love raining when I am at home because this is the best time to bond with my wife and son..Eating soup while chatting and telling jokes is one of the things that I look forward to. I also sing while playing my guitar as my family sings along with me.

When raining outside and no electricity, we play scrabble and other board games while eating popcorn and with candle beside us.

if i could be in your place then i will go and have a walk in rain and certainly have ice cream or any hot .....

i guess i'll just enjoy the rain outside. i'll spend my time playing in the rain just like when i was a kid.. i miss those memories and also the playmates that i have played with. oh the memories are rolling back again waaaa... Y_Y i love being a child ahaha! let's play! weeeeeee!!

If it's raining outside and there's no electricity, I'd do what I always do even when the situation is the exact opposite - spend time with my daughter. We'd laugh and play almost all day long. Sometimes we would read books to our daughter. We would have fun the whole day long.

Well you can exercise in home, lift weights or if you someone in home you can play chess, games of the general of other similar games. And if there is nobody at home you can fix things or clean your room or do your assignments and study your lesson or listen music through a battery operated radio or play your psp or cellphone games if you have one. Or you can sit down and relax and think about things like what you will do after the brownout or reminisce about your past and future.

In genarally,it is inconvenient for us to go out or stay at home when it's raining,particular no electicity......I will sleep in this case for long untill the electrcity come;if somebody company with you,you can chat something interested,like the hobbies,work,study and so on.If you stay alone,you can grab one book to take advantage inspire,you will find you can learn a lot from a good book.

Hi, If its raining outside and no current, in childhood, i and my brother will ask my grandma to tell story. Its very thrilling to hear while raining out. Nowadays, i used to play Caramboard with my brother. My mom will prepare something snacks hot. We family members will sit together and chit chat. If power is on, We'll watch TV instead of speaking with family members. So its very nice to chit chat with all without any disturbance. Now am out of family because of job. Staying in hostel. So while raining, will jump, dance, sing louder with friends in balcony. None there to control. Also i like to watch rain when im alone.

It has to be a great time to watch a movie marathon!!!

I usually grab a book or if its too dark share stories with my family. It's the perfect time for scary stories.
