I'm setting a blog to complement my online store. Am I just wasting my time?

Hi, i just set up an online store in our hometown, together with that i also set up a blog on blogspot to complement the store.
this is my store: www.anaknitatay.multiply.com
and this is the blog: http://joesboxblog.blogspot.com
Will this benefit my store? or will i just be wasting my time? Would appreciate any constructive criticism or advice on this one thanks.

Hi,
IT is another way to start up your online business by
setting a blog for it.
Lot of my friends do have blogs,basically is for their online
store business.
and It is definitely the right way to do it.
Try to set up some marketing program for your online store
to boost up your business.

You could promote (carefully though) your blog in related forums (i.e. add link to your signature, and submit to directories. Perhaps create articles to link to your store (e.g. go Articles, Article Dashboard, etc).
