Turn to be a listener

No I would not say that you are laz. Sometmes we are lost for inspiration. I see stuff everywhere. In the news, cycling to work, catching the train.

People enjoy this site for many different reasons. Your not lazy, just different. It sounds like you've just lost interest on responding and writing your won discussions not that you are just being lazy.

I don't think you're lazy just because you haven't posted discussions for a while. Sometimes I can go for several months only responding to discussions rather than starting my own. You're exactly right when you say that you need inspiration to start them. Sometimes I can start five discussions in a day, and other times I can't think of one for days! I think it's difficult at times to come up with your own discussion because it takes a lot of thought and preparation. Sometimes it's more fun to respond. Take care and keep up the good work!

mac fish maybe you are too hard on yourself and your little criticizer that sits on your shoulder says oh thats no good, nobody wants to read that and blah blah blah. So do not listen to that little imp, listen to your conscience that says mac I think most people would be interested in this.We are all humans and all humans have much the same problems and the same emotions. Go mac fish write that great discussion and people will respond. You made this discussion and its a very common experience here in mylot. a lot of people come there thinking they must be a professional writer, maybe an author, and its so not true. Just pick something that happens to most people and go from there.

I never had a plan when I came here. I don't write many discussions, either. I only write new discussions when something comes to me out of the blue, I never have to sit and think about them. I also comment on discussions when I have something to add. I don't try to force something if it doesn't just pop into my mind. Maybe that's why I love it here so much and have been here so long. No, you're not lazy. Sometimes there's just nothing to write about. It's quite normal. Just enjoy reading and responding to the discussions written by others.
