Internet connection keeps going in and out. HELP!

My internet keeps going in and out, and i do not understand. I plan to contact time warner, for the time being, can someone help me understand why this keeps happening? It seem like, (which i know sounds crazy) but every time I get on mylot I loose connection like every 2-3 minutes. I doubt its the site, but no other site acts this way, but can someone help me understand this?

there are few things that might causing your disconnection....is it rainingat your area at the moment? if it is, signals maybe interupted by rain, gust of wind...second, may just your internet cable if your using cabled internet or if wifi, maybe your router needs reconnection or restart...best of luck

No rain, no wild wind, I did reconnect my router, but the same thing keeps happening. I will just have to contact my internet provider. btw thanks!!
