After the shocking decision from Afridi ,Salman Butt appointed as test captain for the remaining matcches in England. Butt will lead Pak against Australia in the 2nd test . Will he be able to lead the team to success? Do you think he have the experience to become the captain the Pakistan team?

no i dont think he is matured enough to captain pak team all their captains are throwing away the captaincy due to some reason, even the experienced or the respected person in the team were unable to manage the team, so how can butt do it. i think afridi should have continued.

I think this is a case of captaincy being thrust on the individual rather than individual deserving it. But if you look at the Pakistani team with all the bans and in fighting within the team there are are very little options around. I think it would be a real difficult job for Butt, but he is young and is an opener, so has the temperament. I think a lot will depend on how his first couple of series goes, but the Pakistani job is poisoned with in fighting and it is really going to be a tough ask of an youngster. Cheers! Ram
