Hi,I am a Chinese teacher,I am glad to teach foreigners Chinese!
1 When you meet somebody at first time, you could say: ni 3 hao3.(That means "hi",and 3 means third tone) and people also say : ni3 hao3.
So the dialog like this:
A:ni3 hao3. (Hi)
B:ni3 hao3. (Hi)
2 A: ni3 hao3 ma?(How are you?)
B: wo3 hen3 hao3.(I am fine)
ni3 ne ? ( A nd you?)
A:wo3 ye3 hen3 hao3.(I am fine, too)
Words:
1 ni3: you
2 hao3: good ,fine
3 hen3: very
4 wo3: I ,me
5 ye3 : also,too
You got it?

Oh, shai shai !! That means 'thank you' , right. I took some Chinese lessons, but didn't get too far. All I remember now is 'ni hao' and 'shai shai'. My teacher was very good. I really hope I can go back to the classes and learn more to be able to speak with Chinese friends.
Shai shai !
