emo is scattered everywhere, in fashion, views in life, in music theirs emo punk,,emo stands for emotionally motivated output,,,emo is somethings a lifestyle...and something it indicates group of people who are obviously emotional... so are you an emo? how do you know?

I think being emo is base on your emotional feelings not a label of each person, and I will consider my self as emo depends on what's happening in my surrounding.

I don't think people should label themselves. And in almost every case, people who do label themselves are just trying to belong to a group and showing that they have insecurities requiring them to do so. I don't believe that any one person can just have a label slapped on them and it be completely accurate. Not to mention that there are SO many misconceptions for what the labels actually mean. I noticed in your description, for example, that you posted a label of emo punk when emo and punk are two completely different things. And I don't agree that emo can be called a lifestyle. That doesn't make sense to me personally.
