It will be good, if you would take your cat to your a nearby vet and check out..I just wanna ask you this..If you where sick would you go directly to the doctor or you would post here on mylot asking "I'm not well the clinic is too far away from my home can you please tell me how I can get well soon" LOL!!! I'm just letting you know the importance of medication that is required for your cat, you have been doing nothing from past 2 months, your cat will die soon if you don't take it to the vet. Please it'z better you go to vet the very next morning and let us know the truth if you really went to a vet or not.
Will be waiting for your reply :)

There are a million reasons why your cat is over eating. The vet can check for illness. To solve the overeating problem, you can buy a timed feeder. They have several containers for you to put food in. One opens every few hours giving your cat just that portion.

if she otherwise seems fine, then I would suggest you put down only a little food at a time...
cats are made to bolt a lot of food, but we've offered them a different lifestyle and they can be given just a little food at a time, but if you do that, you need to be sure and feed her several times a day
maybe only put down a quarter of a can of wet food or a quarter of a cup of dry

If you really want to help your cat, stop over feeding her. Feed her once a day! Fill her dish and let her eat as much as she wants. When she stops eating take the dish away, and do not feed her again until the next day. Just feed her once a day and she will soon get used to the routine, and be a healthy contented cat.

We have a small bowl for a cat and we try to keep it almost full for the day. We don't pour much. She eats about 3-4 times a day but she never finishes one bowl in day that I noticed. She is also an active cat: likes to jump, run. So, she is pretty healthy and don't overeat.
