Where I live we mostly find books by authors from this country or from Britain and the US. As here are people from all over the world I wonder what good authors you have in your countries and if there are any books you can recommend that are translated to English.

Stephen King is one of if not the most popular authors here in the US and Dean R. Koontz is another. I've read books from both of them. Clive Cussler and Tom Clancy or two more that come to mind and another author I've discovered in the past year is Greg Iles. I am quickly becoming a fan of his. And, his book TRUE EVIL which I am almost finished with is probably his best book, that I've read so far.

I am a very big fan of Nicholas sparks and V.c Andrews. I am from the USA so if you are too then you should be familiar with those authors if your a major reader.
