Is Bacon a fruit or vegetable?

My friends are debating on whether bacon is a fruit or vegetable. Many people consider bacon a meat product but both my friends are vegetarian so that can't be true.

Bacon isn't a fruit or a vegetable.. It comes from a pig, therefor it's meat.. Your friend's aren't really vegetarians if they are eating bacon. There is actually vegetarian bacon though, that could be what they were debating about, whether its a fruit or a vegetable..

Bacon is meat it come from an animal so they can't be vegetarian

Wait what? Bacon is meat. If they do eat meat they are no vegetarians, only partially. Confusing thread is confusing me.

What are you talking about? Sorry, no offfence meant here, but of course bacon is meat, it comes from an animal; a pig! Geez this is the most bizarre discussion ever and your friends must be hving a laugh with you.

I think your friends must be confused, unless they considers pigs to be vegetable or fruit.......
