World Heavy Weight is just not based upon the size and shape of the wrestler. it all depends upon the stuff that one has to survive the match against the opponent. Rey is best suited for WHC because he is very quick in moves and does not gives up quickly against anyone.

Rey is perhaps one of the best competitors in the world, top five at the very least. However, I do think that his size does hurt his believability in many ways. I think he is far above the Intercontinental Title but there is just something a bit off about him being World Heavyweight Champion. Good in the ring and he does have the talent, the charisma, and the fan support. Yet when you see him in the ring against people like Kane, The Big Show, the Undertaker, or others, it does look, almost comical. Not to mention the fact that his first title reign was booked so poorly, given the fact he was crushed in a bunch of non title matches by giants, so that kind of killed him as a credible champion. Of course you can't really have Rey go toe to toe with men much larger them him, but still don't really put him in there in the first place.
The Big Show, I really have an entire new set of problems. It seems like about two months out of the year, they book him as a true force and then there is that other ten months where he's just another guy. Back in the day, a giant used to be a special attraction that you only saw a few times a year, because it really added to their mystique. Andre the Giant for instance was the biggest case of that, where he would work somewhere for a couple of months, work somewhere else for a couple of months, you get the picture. I did enjoy Show during his reign as ECW Champion the most and I thought that run was highly underrated. There was this big man in this world of extreme, who many people who liked the original ECW would utterly be mortified that he was the champion but he was dangerous and could really beat you, whether or not you had weapons.
So, who is better suited? I would like to see Show have a solid run where he just destroys everyone for about six months and then you can really build someone up by toppling him. Basically with the Big Show playing the Andre to someone else's Hulk Hogan. I think that Rey is good, but there are a lot of possibilities out of building the Big Show up, running over everyone for about six months, before winning the belt, and then dominating all the challengers for six months, from Wrestlemania to Wrestlemania, before someone finally topples the big man.

I would like to see Big Show get the belt, I haven't seen him with his own championship belt for some time. This would give Rey Mysterio time to get his knee repaired...again. Big Show has some comical times and does a pretty good Show when he can. Then they can have Big Show take down Drew McIntrye to his knees....
