Do you think cheating is worse if you were sober than if you were drunk?

If you happened to cheat on your partner, would it be worse if you were sober? or would it not make any difference at all? What if you were so drunk that you could not even remember the event, is that as bad as a cold calculating adulterer? (this is not a self help thing, I am just wondering!)

This is an interesting situation, ok so we know we are going to be in trouble if we cheat on our spouse, or partner. So if we are going to do it, if we are then drunk we cannot even remember the event. So not only are we in trouble with a capital T but we cant even remember the good (or bad) time that we had.
I am still unclear as to whether or not the drunk factor means we are better or no better than a sober cheater.
