The number of unemployed and under employed increases yearly. Having a degree or a graduate of a four year course is not a guarantee for having a good job. I have nieces who will graduate next year and hopefully enroll in college and im thinking of recommending a course for them to take up.What do u think is the best course?

For me, there is no best course. It all depends on what the person really, really likes. I know some people who took up nursing because it's a popular course, but after they graduate, they're either unemployed or working in a different field. I also know some people who followed their own hearts and are very successful now because they love what they're doing. Good luck to your nieces and I hope they'll have fun in college!

i agree with you..it should be something that the person love to do and like because at end it will just be wasted if they find out that it is not what they really likes.

Yeah. I experienced it firsthand. I was forced to take up a course that I didn't really like and now I'm having a hard time. :( I should have put my foot down and insisted on taking the course that I like. There's nothing I can do about it now but I'll just have to make use of what I have.
