Have you ever had the feeling that someone or something is missing in your life?
Have you ever seen your life as pointless?
I have most of the time, and I know that only a personal relationship with our Creator could fill that emptiness in me.
What's your point of view?

Yes, I have felt someone was missing in my life, but I found that someone in my fiance. As for seeing life as pointless, well, in a sense it is. However, it is not something I focus on and I instead try to appreciate the world as much as I can while still alive.
I do not require a relationship with an imaginary friend to fill any emptiness I may have felt at times throughout my life. In the words of the late, great Carl Sagan, "It is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring."

I am a Catholic but there are times that I fail to do my Sunday obligation of going to attend the Sunday mass.
However, this does not mean that I am forgetting God. I do pray to Him every night before I sleep.
When I feel down, I just turn to him and it works.

I have that feeling all the time. I'm no sure if that's what they call the midlife crisis . But i guess, a lot feel that way. It's just a matter of your current state of mind. These thoughts normally come in when you're alone and wishing you have a lot of money at your disposal. a lot of people are claiming that they are not religious but they have a personal relationship with god. They could be telling the truth but i'm sure a lot of people are using this as an excuse not to go to church or they're just too busy to set a time for god. I'm not religious either, i too have my own personal relationship with god but there are days really that i keep asking god what is his plans are for me.

So... do you still feel someone or something is missing in your life? Do you still feel your life is pointless? Do you now have a personal relationship with our Creator or are you still searching? I'm asking because then I'll know how to answer you. I do agree with you though; that only a personal relationship with our Creator can fill that emptiness.
