90's punk rock

What happened to punk rock. I remember going to the Vans Warped Tour back in 99, 00, 02, and they were all so awesome. Bad religion, Nofx, Pennywise, Rancid, the list go's on and on. Now rarely do i ever talk to someone who even knows these bands much less actyually listen to them. Is that genre of punk compleatly dead? Does anyone know any new bands with similier sound?
