My daughter brought home another kitten the other day and named her Patches. I keep telling her not to get attached and she tells me too late! HAH! Well, another week or so and this one will be litter box trained and ready to go to a new home. Wish us luck!

LOL...what's wrong with "Patches"? I think it's appropriate for this little tuxedo kitty. Of course, it does remind me a bit of the song by Dickey Lee.

its too ordinary, challenge her to come up with a better, more interesting name

Well, my daughter wanted to name her and she chose Patches, which suits her. Of course, once she's found a permanent home they may change her name. If I circumvent my daughter's choice, she may never forgive me. I've named all the other kitties we've taken in so she was very insistent that she name this one. Since I don't plan on keeping her, I don't care what she's named. heeheeheeeee (furby laugh)

Good luck in finding Patches a good new home.he/she is adorable and I can see why your daughter is so attached to he/she already. It is so hard to make kids understand just why they can't keep every animal they find,he he I guess I haven't grown up yet either as if I could I would keep every stray we find no matter dog cat or whatever. My hubby keeps saying no honey we already have 3 dogs and 1 cat we don't need more, but I just feel so bad for them I want to love them all and give them a good home.

LOL...you understand! I am operating a cat rescue in my home but I try to limit the number of cats in my home to four at a time. I am currently over that limit by two. Oy vey!
