I think that's pretty accurate. It's a sad thing that happens, but we see it all too often because the more people get the more they want. I think it's sad. I'd love to have a million dollars, but if I did then I know that I wouldn't need more money than that for more than a decade. Imagine, we're making $20,000 a year right now. If we had a million dollars that would last us for probably 20 years without straining much. Plus, we wouldn't stop working because, to be honest, what would we do with all that idle time anyway, so with even one million we'd be basically set for life. With even $100,000 we'd be doing great. xD
I think it's easy to lose your perspective if you constantly want more than what you have and it's easy to slip into that loop where you always want more and more. What's important is to remember to be happy with what you have, whatever that might be.

well i think it depends on the person. There are millionaires out there that their fortune to charities and such.
and of course there are some that are greedy. like those who are caught doing something in the hedge funds.

You are very right about that. It is sad though that the more a person has, the more they want. It seems they are never satisfied. I know I will never attain that kind of wealth, so I don't have to worry about wanting more. I wish I did make more than I do, but since I'm not, then I don't have to worry about it. I never started out thinking I would ever make a lot of money anyway, as I knew it wouldn't be all that much, and something is sure better than nothing. It all adds up eventually, and that is a good thing. The times being what they are, I think everyone wants more, as it takes more to be able to do anything with, since things are so expensive now. I just want enough to supplement my fixed income, and I will be happy. I am making something though, and I am happy about that. Good luck to you and happy mylottting.

It is just our perception. We just see what we want to see and not what people show us. Its always our chaoice what we think of a rich person. I know a few people who have been so helpful and do a lot of charity inspite of being rich and they not lose money but the money always keeps growing for them...

I feel that's quite true. At least almost of the human beings are like that. Always want better and better life, richer and richer, but that's also not wrong, who doesn't want nice life right?

I believe that it depends on person. When someone greedy becomes rich, money change him/her for worse.I think that money reveal the true personality. You become rich and you feel free and you show what you really are.A creative person, good person makes good things from money, a greedy, selfish person makes bad things from money.Like if I give a you a knife, you can stick it in my heart, but you can make me a nice sandwich.
Same with money. You can create, give jobs, help, but you can just collect it and never share a penny with anyone.

It's human nature... Greed is part of everyone. Almost everyone wants more of what they already have. If you are never content then I guess you'll eventually become a greedy person. I can say that I'm greedy... in a sense. I just focus my greed in what I need rather than what I want.
