I believe it is very evident now that the Tea party held very racist elements and divise people within their ranks. No there are some legitamite people within their ranks however the more vocal and showy elements were racist.
But the funny thing is their attempts to hide it from the public and couch it in other things.
Of course they found a black man whom they could put out in front as a spokesman which is not a unique ploy. Throughout history there have always been uncles Toms who sell other blacks out. Whats really funny is when they said at Fox news and other quarters that the incidents in front of the capitol against black congressman did not happen. Commentators on Fox news said there is no evidence that the Congressman were spit on and called the N word. However we saw the video showing the vitirol of the crowd. We heard the testimony of John Lewis, and Congressman Cleaver and Frank. But the news station still says were not sure if it happened.
We see were their allegiance lies. Not in being fair and balanced but in representing a certain standpoint.
The NAACP is more than right to attack the Tea parties and if they dont then they will held accountable. The Tea party will back fire for Republicans unless they distance themselves from it.
The American public of fair minded people can see the truth and it will be evidenced in the elections and the Novemebr elections will be interesting.

i for one think that this whole tea party vs NAACP thing is taking america backward rather than forward. the two entities are racial in all there aspects and activities. i think the government should try its best to curb this pattern or sooner or later it will get out of hand.

There is a big lesson that you must go by in America and life period. If you dislike conflict and your opponent knows it, they will use conflict to try and get what they want.
The Tea party is not using overt racism theirs is subliminal and undercover. Because of his position it would not be right right for President Obama to fight back but that is not true of the NAACP. The NAACP was formed to fight against injustice and it is a part of their mandate. They are playing their role and already are having a good effect. They have shown light on the depth of the Tea parties motives and let their supporters know that someone has the power and the prestige to call them on it.
