Its a saying that means in order to make something, something must be destroyed first. I have no point to make here, its just that I heard it and it sounded interesting to discuss.

I see... well, it turned out to be an inspiring and deep statement. However, the word 'destroy' added up to a negative connotation though it must be really seen positively. I think this does not hold true for all times. I mean, it's not all the time that you would have to destroy something first in order to create or make another thing. What do you think? Would you cite an example to elaborate further?

Yeah your right. What I posted is just a saying that means to make something something must be destroyed first. It's like cows are butchered to get beef, when strength training your muscles destroy and rebuild itself to become stronger, to make crushed ice you have to crush them first, and other things like these.
