Ganguly captaincy vs Dhoni captaincy?

well i like ganguly's captaincy more. i like dhoni too. he is also a good captain. but ganguly was captained the team when the team was struggling. he brought up the team from nowhere. he buid the team, he managed the team without much resources. in his time there was no good bowlers. there was no wicket keeper. he was forced to play with dravid as wicket keeper. so ganguly is the best captain for me.

I think both are good captains. Ganguly was a great captain because he brought spirit into a sagging Indian team. Ganguly told the boys that you can fight back and we can win abroad. Indians have not looked back since then. I remember the century he scored against the Aussies in Steve Waugh's farewell series, which suddenly gave India hope that they could win in Australia!! Dhoni on the other hand has built on this success and has taken India one step further to take the T20 Cup and the No. 1 status in the Test matches. I think he has been astute in turbulent times when the seniors are slowly going out and youngsters are coming in. With the resources at his disposal he has done wonderfully well!! Cheers! Ram

I like Dada's captaincy more . I remember when Ganguly took over the Captaincy India was stutterin badly at 7th position in the Test rankings . At those times winning matches abroad was nothing but a dream . Then came the Leading light which fed confidence in everyone . He encouraged everyone proved how good he was . His tactics are the best in the world according to me . Dhoni on the other hand took over when India was 3rd in the rankings. Also at this time most of the teams players have been those , well shaped by Ganguly . Still taking nothing away for both I personally think Sourav Ganguly was the greatest India captain ever.

Ganguly is a good captain but luck does not approch him,Dhoni is a lucky captain since some bad matches are also turned victory and make every one happy.

I like Ganguly more. Both as a player and as a captain. He took charge of the Indian Team at a much troubled stage. He made the team of India the Team India of today....

Ganguly is a good captain. Dhoni is a captain with luck. When dada was handling the team ,it was a poor team. But dhoni got a best team made by ganguly. And now MSD is handling the team very well

plz stop comparing Dhoni with Ganguly... When there was no one, Dada took the team with spirit and shaped it. Dhoni is just trying to maintain that.
