THey have coined a new George Washington dollar coin. and it doesnt have IN GOD WE TRUST on it.
DO not accept them! WE dont need our money changed over for the 14% that dont want that wording on our money. Been there for along time and spends well. So lets boycott this dollar!
Also abut 2 AM this morning I saw on one of those shopping channels that they hav a set of bears with it on the feet . I heard no meantin of the wording being gone. But they did say get your new George Washington Dollar sewn on the bottom of the feet.
One way to get that dollar out there very sneaky ! grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

According to Snopes.com, this is not true. The year of printing, "E Pluribus Unum" and "In God We Trust" are inscribed on the edges of the coins. :

I don't know how many from the first printing got out...and I definitely wouldn't accept one of them if it were offered to me...but leaving those words off of the coin is not part of some plan.

Um didnt they already have a dollar coin a few years ago and it flopped. Even though there are advantages to coins rather then bills. Like cany or soda bars it would be a lot easier putting a coin in a machine rather then a bill lol. Thats about the only advantage I can think of lol.

Here in Canada we have had a dollar coin for some time already. First they took away the two dollar bill and replaced it with a coin then the dollar bill was also gone and a coin. It makes it bad because all this coin gets heavy. They did mention that they were thinking of bringing out the 5.00 coin, Good Grief. The reason they give us is because there is too much counterfeiting. The worl is going to pieces.

Honestly, it's not that big of a deal. Not everyone believes in God and if this nation is to be impartial and not alienate people it can't assume everyone does believe in god. Personally, I believe in a higher power, but I don't care about whether a few words are on a coin. Separation of Church and State is very important and a lot of people have to learn that.

ELIC: I guess that's what you get when you trust Wicked-pedia, huh? Don't say I didn't warn you. They simply cannot be trusted when it comes to the Left's sacred political cows, & atheism is one of the biggest bovines in their collection.
I wish it were all just so much BS (bear scat...barbra streisand...), but it's not. They've been trying to get this little slap in the face of religious folks for about a century. Looks like they "win" this round, but it's a Pyrrhic victory. It may technically be money, but I have this theory that money is only nominally such if it's not in use. I predict a lot of shiny, useless coins will stack up in "Wearhouse 13," you know--that huge-mungous place where the Ark of the Covenant wound up?

I'm going to make cashiers give me paper (or original silver dollars). If that's all they have, then I'll just sit my would-have-been purchases on the counter & leave. I would literally be damned if I let that coin cross my hand. Caesar's going to have to eat this dud. It's just too bad we're going to be forced to pay for them to produce these things.
Government. Ptui.

According to this:

Leaving off "In God We Trust" was a mistake that only happened on a limited number of coins.

Gosh they're always trying to change things aren't they, just so it won't offend certain people. How about the rest of us that don't like this coin they're putting out and leaving the words "In God We Trust" off of it, what if it offends us, but they don't care.

thats why we look at them and tell who ever hands it to us that we want the paper bill not the coin.
I sort of think we should have got made when they stat messing with the bills and putting color and the like on them and half of them wont work at the casinos! either the bills dont specially the $10s

Hi Lakota! I haven't heard anything about this yet and I am
always on top of the news! What are they crazy? The government
actually allowed this? There is no way that me or anyone I know
would ever touch one of those coins and how dare they try to
make those little bears wear them on their feet either!

WE now know only 80,000 were misprinted BUT stil I dont think we need a dollar coin to tote around Thats why they stopped making them in the first place they were to heaVY FOR THE POCKET.
AND TO THEY SAY EVEN IF HEY HAVE THE WORDS ON THERE ITS ON THE EDGE WHERE IT CAN WEAR OFF GRRRRRRRRRRRRR.
oops sorry about caps but not rewriting this olololololol but seems like I hit the cap botton in the right place ha ha ha

Hello my friendzandi458 Ji,
I appriciate your concern towards your National currency. Recently our Government too has introduced 'RUPEES' in different form. But, if there was a debate on subject matter, well it should have been sorted out. Here too we never had any discussion. But there has not be any hue and cry for new currency. I will just try and up-load, let's see. if it works out. Sorry it could not be up-loaded
May God bless You and have a great time.
