Do you prefer McDonald's or Burger King?

The two fast food burger joints that seem to be most popular are McDonald's and Burger King. They've often been compared and pitted against each other in the marketing world. What I'm wondering is what people here at MyLot prefer of the two and why? Also, what do you enjoy from both places? I personally prefer Burger King. I just love the way the burgers taste and the fries are just better in my opinion too. The burgers have a more real grilled taste to them. And their chicken sandwiches are amazing as well. That's not to say I don't like McDonald's though because I do. I always end up getting the Big Mac or the Chicken McNuggets when I go there. I just prefer Burger King overall. What about you guys?

What country are you from? When you first said Jollibee I was confused because I've never heard of that, but it makes sense now that you say you're from another country. There are even popular fast food places in the United States that I didn't hear of for the longest time just because of them being centric to one region of the states. I'm assuming Jollibee is a burger place as well?

Yes they are the counterpart of McDonald in the Philippines. whenever there is McDonald Jollibee is next to it or the other way around.

I personally don't like to ear from fast foods. Each time I eat some burgers or sandwiches made at the fast food I get even more hungry and my stomach hurts. I rather eat something less tasty but healthier.

That's understandable. I know a handful of people who never eat fast food or didn't have it for most of their life for health reasons or other things. Luckily, fast food places have started adding healthier things to their menus as well and changing older recipes to make them healthier. Like now you're able to order apple slices and milk with kids meals. Additionally they've started adding nutritional facts to their wrappers for people who are conscious of the health aspect. I know fast food still isn't what you'd consider healthy, but it's nice that they're slowly gearing themselves towards that a bit for people like you who would rather eat healthier.

Well I didn't knew they added these types of food because I don't stop by fast foods and see whats on the menu because I know there is always the same list. Maybe where you live, fast foods start adding natural and healthy food, but where I live, fast foods only sell junk food. I see people standing in line at fast foods just to buy one sandwich because they say that at that fast food they make very tasty sandwiches in town but little do they know how unhealthy it is as well.

Lately we've been eating alot of McDonald's but the other day I passed by a Burger King. I really thought about how much I missed the Whopper. The grilled taste of the burger, onions, etc seemed so much better.

Yeah, growing up my family used to eat at McDonald's so much more so I'd rarely get to have burger king and I know the feeling you're talking about. Every time I would get the chance to actually eat there it just seemed like the burgers were just booming with flavor because of the grilled taste and it's a nice change after not having it for awhile.
