In the past few years America has taken an interest in anime due to its rising popularity in adults, teens, and kids. Recently Hollywood has taken anime shows and attempted to make real live action movies to profit from the fans and sell merchandise from the sucessful movie. Sadly their attempts have failed to make a sucessful movie, for example "Dragon Ball Evolution" a movie from the hit anime Dragon ball Z was so bad that it didnt even survive on the big screen and was moved to video right after its release.Hollywood seems to focus more on amercanizing the anime believing it will appeal more to the american public but while doing this they destroy the animes story in the process,if hollwood casted the animes correctly and stayed closer to animes story wood the movies turn out better? With rumors spreading of more live action movies on the way do anime fans even have anything to look forward too?

Hollywood should seriously just stay away from anime.. DB evolution was a disgrace.. it was a laughing stock.. and it was a waste of my time to watch it. Actually, the Hong Kong movie industry tried to do the same thing many years ago.. they actually made a Street Fighter Live Action movie.. it was quite badly done too but not as bad as DB evolution.
I heard Hollywood want to make turn anime like Monster and Cowboy Bebop into live action movies. I love both anime and I hope they won't ever do it.
