Do you spend a lot of money on purchasing items from ebay? Or do you have a limited principle on each of those ebay items available for bid on ebay.com? I might place a cash limit on those items, because I heard so many bad reviews on those items are not match what they described there. So, there is fraud may involved. So, for those casual items, like book or movies, I won't pay more than $8.00 for them. For bigger items, depend on how new they are. But I won't pay up to between $100 - $200 for that. I just don't want to lose big on my hard - earning money.

My only limit is do not bid bigger amount than price for what I can buy It. If real price for item is $50 dollars I do not bid for that item If others have bided more. Do you understand what I mean. Also I always bid dollars and cents example 20.99 It would be harder to other biders. I always won things what I need sometimes I spend more money sometimes less money. Take care, Have a nice day!

How much I spend really depends on the item. I have spent as little as $1.00 to as much as $9,500.00 (for my car)
I have gotten my cats big cat tree/scratching post which only cost me $80.00 but save me hundreds and weighed over 50 pounds.
My car which was by far the biggest item and most expensive I also had to pay $500 to ship it from halfway across the US. But I am completely in love with it!
Before making a purchase you should always check the seller out - what have they sold before - and how much- what is their reputation like?
There is usually a guarantee between you and ebay and paypal - so that you don't get cheated out of your money.. But of course if you are not using paypal and have sent the seller a check.. than yes you could very well lose your money if they are trying to scam you. That is why I always make sure before I bid that it is not someone who is asking to be paid by check only. It makes me suspicious.

it all depends on what i want and how much i want it. then i look at the comments and the ratings posted, After that i pay for the product. I don't spend much but i don't have a limit.
i just don't go for way expensive things.

I go by reputaion of the person. I also look to make sure that they are in the U.S. I only spend between 5-10 dollars on ebay. I also look to see the full description of the item to make sure it is what I want. I had come pretty close to buying my wedding dress online three years ago, but the dress would have come from China and I was afraid I might not have gotten it on time and that it may not have fit. I do buy DVDs, CDs and Books from ebay once in a while.

All depends on what I am buying and who I am buying it for. I use my personal ebay account to buy items that are needed to keep our work facilities running. So for those items as long as I am saving the company some money, it doesn't really matter what is spent because they will pay me back for them. As for personal items it all depends on how much I really want something. I just make sure that whatever I buy is sold by a seller with a good reputation and that I can not buy it somewhere else on the internet cheaper.

There are lots of things on the internet that i think about getting and the first thing i look for is the price of how much an items postage is as there are alot of things that are or work out alot more when you add up the postage as it would be cheaper to go to the shop and get it.

I mostly buy books on Ebay. Depending on the retail value of the book depends on what I will place a high bid for. I homeschool my children so the books I need for them are bought cheaper on Ebay than from the company I use. Just be sure to check the sellers reputation. The feedback tells how honest they are, and I have never been disappointed.
