A few of my husbands friends, or should i say friends that he works with knew that i had not been feeling very good aswell as the treatment that i was on gave me horrid side effects aswell as they had to stop treatment. One of the women which i have met only a few times that he works with told my husband to give me her number and said to give her a ring if there was anything i needed or even if i wanted a chat anytime, also all the other women where he works also said to ring the courts where he works if i need anything.I think that is very sweet,i know they all mean well, but i have alot of friends that are there for me aswell as family.

That is simply wonderful and you can never have to many friends. That was very sweet of them to offer.

You are so lucky to have so many peole there for you...It sounds like you feel overwhelmed with the kindness of the people your husband works for. I can understand that you already have enough firends & family there for you but I guess it couldn't hurt to hold onto your husband's work friend's numbers fir the just in case :) I hope you are doing a little better than you have been lately.

Thats great that you have such support from family and friends and even you husbands friends. It is so nice to know that there are still nice people out there to give you a hand.It is important to know that your husband has support as well from his work mates.

Hi jugsjugs..I know how you feel. The people that I work with are like that too. They are very involved when any of us are having a rough time. There was a time when it was more like extended family there than coworkers and I suppose that there are some that still feel that way. I get involved with the fundraisers and for those that are low on their luck, but I feel funny about visiting people because I am funny about my privacy too. Take care and I hope you get to feeling better.

that's nice that people are worried about you, even though you don't want them to be,just be polite and say ' of course i'll phone you if i need anything, thank you',,i'd hate it if people kept saying to me,are you ok or do you need anything, but that's just me,i'm very independant

I think that is so kind of them to do, and it goes to show how well respected you and your husband are.
You don't find that too often today, where people are willing to lend a helping hand, even if it's just to chat. I think it's great and people like that are well worth knowing. I'm sure they also know you have many friends and family that are there for you, and now you have many more who have you in their thoughts, and that should make you feel pretty special.

I try never to turn down any hand held out in kindness. You never see the whole picture and where just you simple acceptance can work great things. Even if it is just a small note of thanks for their thoughts.

That is very kind of them. It shows they think a lot of your husband and you! It is rare these days to find people that are willing to help someone in need. It is good to know that if for some reason, your other friends and family can't help you that there is someone else willing to help.
