the little stars by My lot profiles

so I see people with the stars next to their names, and I have been looking around on the site, but can't figure out what those are. can anyone clue me in what they are, and what they do exactly?

you have to wait till you touch the 100 posts, when you could get the decoration ... it is called mylot rating.. and, you can read a lot about that here: http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq11.aspx it is more interesting to learn about the DISCUSSION RATING SYSTEM in mylot. it not only encourages one to post quality stuff, it also gives a sort of energy, to find your STAR increasing. ... the opposite is not actually true.. that, you will be demoralised, when it is going down.
