For those who have successfully gotten your infant on a good sleeping schedule, what are your tips? How were you able to stick to it? What came up that you think I would go through if I were to take your advice? Thank you.

I learned with the first one that you must lay them down and it's time for sleep, period. Returning to the room when they cry is rewarding them for crying. This is the wrong message you want to send. After about two weeks (of your pain and agony) your baby will sleep through the night. Providing of course baby is done feeding at night.

Thank you for your advice. My son is kind of sleeping through the night but he goes to sleep at random times and it is driving me insane!

Hi, Before my son reached 1 year old, I will hug him at night, sing a lullaby for him and rocked him to sleep. Only after he sleep, then I will lie him down on his bed cot. But since he reached 1 year old, I will just lie him down on the bed, with me at his side and sing lullaby for him, he will sleep after a while. It is good to have a fixed time for your kid to sleep. Now, my son is going to 3.5 years old. I will get him ready for bed at 10pm. After his night milk feeding, change his pyjama and get him ready for bed. Not to forget some story telling for him every night.
