What's this about the search/home page on mylot?

I've been on my Lot for over a year now and I'm just hearing that mylot pays you for having there page as a home page and using it for searching the internet. Is this true? I haven't read anything about it in the faqs section or in the earning section

Hi! that is true, i have tried it already, you can search the net in your mylot acount and you will earn a few cents and it is automatically added to your earnings. Try it.

You have to wait on the pop up saying "Congratulations! you have just earned ____ cents", before closing your search, then check your earnings.

i think they are not paying for making mylot as home page, as it my current home page. they are paying for using their search engine, i am paid max of 10 cent as reward. use it as a normal search engine and the reward value will be more.
i have earned about 30 cents in one day.

Check it where mylot explains all. Itçs nor a regular payment though but you can get a few random cents. Search engine is a lot better than it used to be. I the screen (top left) you can change it from web searching to mylot searching.
