Hi to all dear friends here,
Do you like to have your vacation at beach? What do you always do there?
Personally I found a beach vacation is cool if only I can get away from threats like sandflies and jellyfish.
I am lucky that on my recent trip to a local beach, there aren't such threats and I have a great relaxing time there. Next week, I am going to another beach vacation again. Hopefully, this one will end up great. :D

Yes , I do like going to beaches. They kind of relax me with so much pressure from work. Even just sitting on the sand and looking out to the vast sea, listening to my favorite music would be so refreshing. I could also go and take a dip in the water and snorkel, giving the fish some bread so they could come to me. Hope your next trip will be a blast too. :)

It has been years since I last snorkelling around some islands. It was my first and also the last (till today). I always want to find a chance for snorkelling at nearby beach but in vain because there isn't a nice coral reef nearby. Even have, i would need to rent a boat to go to a nearby island and this will cost pretty much. As I am still an unemployed, the expenses still is a pain.

In the past I have been able to visit some tropical beaches in different parts of the world. I visited St Lucia in the Caribbean when I was 19 years old. At age 20 to 21 I explored some of Australia's Great Barrier Reef islands. When I was in my mid twenties I visited Kenya. I spent some time on an Indian Ocean beach and I went on a safari. In my thirties I have been to the Seychelles and the Maldives. The year before my disabled son was born I went to Belize, Guatemala and Mexico. I loved spending time on Caye Caulker. I did much snorkeling. I live just four miles from the beach but it isn't possible to swim in the sea. There are some sinking mud and dangerous tides. Hopefully I will be able to go more tropical beaches when my son is older. My daughter will be walking by then and my son will be in a wheelchair.

All the while, I feel that the greatest love all is the love of a mother. We usually tied down after we have our own family and more commitments. It is more difficult to be able to travel around when there are kids around and needless to say, to have one that need more time to take care of and to love with. Glad to hear that you have enjoy yourself so much and visited so many places in the early adult years. :)

cocooreo,
In the first place, you can avoid these unpleasant encounters by knowing your geography and doing your homework to ensure that you go to areas that are infested with these pests.
If you cannot avoid it, then you may want to bring along insect repellents and jellyfish protective lotions which you buy from the pharmacies or dive shops. You may also consider suiting up when you dive in purple flagged waters. Also, since it is unavoidable then you may also want to bring along jellyfish sting neutralization medication like vinegar or vinegar based condiments like ketchup or mustard to ease the pain of the sting and reduce the severity of the wound.
I always do my homework when I go to these nature basic holidays to avoid any unnecessary inconveniences and injuries, which will spoil my holiday.

I always do homework before leaving to a place. Therefore, I have found so many information about the pest. As such, I am constantly careful to not be the next victim of the pests.
Though I have found the suggested way to keep away from the pests but the suggested medicine are not available in local pharmacy.
I know vinegar can help to neutralize the poison from the jellyfish, yet, I didn't bring it along with me due to having the feeling that it is bothersome. I am glad that there wasn't a single sign of the jellyfish during my stay at the beach last week.

I love beaches. They are very relaxing. I love the sound of the sea, the sun and the sand, the air.
This year I havenĀ“t been to a beach yet but I hope I will be able to do it before that end of the year. The last time I was at a beach was during a trip in a sailing boat . We were at the caribbean for a little less than 3 weeks. It was awesome!

We live about a hour away from the beach and even though we usually go about once a month at least I still consider it a vacation as there is really no other place I would rather be. We fish on the beach alot and we also bbq. I like to take a book sometimes and just lounge and read. I do not like jellyfish seaon very much and when they are present I will not go in the water as last year I was stung by one and man they hurt!!Good luck on your next beach vacation and have tons of fun and relaxation.

Thank you for your reply. Yeah, jelly fish sucks. At my birthplace, I stayed very far from the beach. Currently I have moved to another new town, and sea is about an hour away too. Actually, I envy the people who can stay so near to the beach with amazing view.

I love going to the beach. My favorite thing to do is search for shark teeth and build sand castles with my kids.

In fact, I prefer going to mountain resorts for vacations. It may be because , I have been living quite close to the Canadian Rockies. I go there quite often, even over the weekends, to enjoy the cool and refreshing natural environments. There are a number of places to enjoy in the Banff National park, right there on the Rocky mountains.
